A brand new crop of players made their debut for Crigg U8s putting in a
brave performance against a more experienced Seigan Saints.  Holly Boyce
received the player of the match award for two tries.  Niall Fitzsimons,
Joe Crabtree and Ollie Greensmith also scored, with Greensmith being
named top tackler as well.  Stephen Gibbs got best endeavour, whilst
Milo Kirkpatrick and Kieran Proctor both made solid debuts.  The U8s are

Excellent finishing by Jordon Boyce (2 tries, Man of the Match), and
TheoKirkpatrick (2 tries, Top Tackler), saw Crigg U9s through to an
excellent win against Shaw Cross Sharks.  Execution of a 'perfect'
tackle by Henry Firth saw him win the Most Improved Player award, but it
was the improved handling skills of the whole team that created the try
scoring chances for Liam Cardall, Billy Greensmith, Sam Tallant, and
Liam Senior.

Crigg All Blacks U10's put in an outstanding team performance at New
Earswick going down by one try. Captain Will Simpson, led the team from the front keeping their spirit high throughout.  Jason Gill on debut played with enthusiasm taking a few attacking runs to great effect and defending well throughout. Player of the match went to Josh Fox who scored a hatrick of tries and kicked a great conversion.  Fox also received the supporters player
award.  Chandler Nicholson was Top Tackler.

U11s turned in their best performance of the season at home to
Bradford Victoria.  Jordan Bartholomew opened the scoring with a run
from half way and his conversion gave Crigg the lead.  Most improved
player Sam Malley showed his determination with a try and some excellent
tackles. Top tackler was Josh Haigh for an outstanding performance.
R.J.B Joinery player of the match was Jake Jordan for a superb all round
contribution and two tries.  The other try scorers were Sam Richardson,
Jonah Mellor, Adam Allerton and Matthew Crowther.

The U13s beat Dewsbury Moor 32-26 with Luke Drury scoring 3 tries.  Man
of the Match Nick Taylor, Tom Padgett and Martin Robinson all crossed as
well, with Leo Peat adding 4 goals. 

A tight game at Shaw Cross saw the U15s continue to improve, coming out
on top 22-14.  Man of the match Nick Pluskota scored a try and goal
before leaving the field with a broken arm.  Billy Griffiths crossed
twice with the other try from Eddie Bennett.  Luke Kenyon scored two
goals and top tackler was Jonny Wooton whose try-saving tackle turned
the game Crigg's way.
