Crigg U13s travelled to Stanningley and came away deserving 24-16 winners. Playing into a strong first half wind a Luke Drury try from a Martin Robinson kick made the half-time score 4-4. With the wind behind them after the break, Drury scored his second try, and Neworld Bulldogs man of the match Luke Fletcher clinched the points with a hat-trick of tries. Robinson added two goals. Josh Hargreaves was outstanding in defence sharing top tackler with Matty Mosley. Crigg U12s were just edged out in a tight encounter with Dewsbury Celtic, losing 24-16. Crigg were behind early on, but Michael Greensmith got Crigg back into the game, chasing up a kick to touch down. Arron Cockell scored shortly after the break to draw Crigg level. Two quick tries for Celtic saw them home, before Jamie Searby, got on the end of a fine pass to touch down in the corner. Darryl Seaton was the top tackle, on his come back from injury. Jordan Bashforth scored two goals and was adjudged most improved, whilst Max Tallant took home the man of the match award. Crigglestone All Blacks' U11s came away with a draw at New Earswick thanks to two tries from Jordan Bartholomew and one from Adam Allerton. Adam Swift and Jake Jordan both kicked a goal each. The R.J.B Joinery Crigglestone all black Girls attended their last festival of this part of their season, Crigg teamed up with Cas Panthers as under 12s and put on an impressive display of girls rugby against Leeds, Hull, Kettlethorpe High and St. Wilfreds. Amy Cotton receives Most improved player for crigglestone, with Leah Humphries receiving player of the match for her great try and attacking play. Castleford player Lauren Rycroft along with Catlin Savage received most improved player awards, with Katie receiving top tackler and Erica Lea being awarded a much deserved player of the match. At under 14s all the girls who took part put on a great display with the under 16's winning one of their games.
