Girls U12-U16

 

Sunday 7th October

 

Criggs' Girls represented Wakefield on Saturday in a festival at Leeds. In the U16s Abbie Townend scored a try and Angelina Nicholson made some great tackles in defence.  Bethany Nicholson scored an outstanding try for the U13s.  Both Leah Humphries and Abbie Cotton played for the U12s, with Humphries scoring twice on her debut.

 

Sunday 24th September

 

Crigg's Girls took part in a festival at the weekend competing with other girls from the Castleford and Kirklees areas.  Abby Townend and Angelina Nicholson were stand-outs at Under 16s, both showing great potential both in defence and attack, with Abby scoring her first try. Both girls used the skills they have learnt in training to great effect.  Bethany Nicholson scored 3 tries for the Under 13s and showed good defensive skills with try saving tackles throughout the two games she played.
